WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A PROFESSIONALLY-DESIGNED WEBSITE & BRANDING PACKAGE?
Google AdWords is Google's revolutionary advertising program. Within AdWords, you can create simple, effective ads and display them to people searching online for information or 'keywords' related to your business.
The 'keywords' that are included within your advertising account trigger your adverts when a searcher visits Google and enters a query related to those keywords — say, 'Adwords Management' — The Google Search Engine will display relevant search results, such as links to articles related to 'Adwords Management'. Through the 'sponsored links' sections (situated both at the top and to the right of search engine results), Google will also display relevant adverts that link to online businesses offereing 'Adwords Management' services and any other information deemed relevant to the search.
Once you activate your account with Google, your targeted ads would be eligible to appear. That is, the AdWords system would constantly seek out search queries related to the keywords you've selected in your advertising campaign, then display your ads to highly targeted audiences. In essence, this effectively means that you'll be advertising directly to an audience that is already looking for you.
HOW MUCH WILL USING TOP CLICK MEDIA'S WEB DESIGN & BRANDING SERVICE COST ME?
The cost of a website varies, depending upon the type of site you require. A basic site will cost from approx £1000, a simple ECommerce site £1950, a complex ECommerce site/Database Driven site £3000+. Obviously each site has to be treated on it's individual requirements, but these figures should give you an idea of a ballpark figure.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A DESIGN TO BE COMPLETED?
The timescale of a project is generally dictated by the client and will vary depending on the scope of work stipulated in the initial brief. If you have a deadline in mind we will endeavour to meet it for you. The most common delay in the creation of a site is waiting for content (usually text & images) to be sent to us by the client.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I COMPLETE YOUR WEB DESIGN CONTACT FORM?
When you fill out our Web Design Contact Form, one of our design team will contact you to discuss your design requirments in greater detail. Top Click Media are dedicated to providing the highest level of service from the very offset - so that our potential clients can feel safe in the notion that we do all of the hard work to ensure each brief is met with energy, creativity and enthusiasm.
We aim to reply to all Design enquiries within 24hrs (depending on the size and nature of the brief)
DO I NEED TO SEND A DEPOSIT FOR THE WORK?
Top Click Media Have a Minimum Deposit Requirement of 30% for all Design Work we take on.
This initial deposit goes towards the first stage workings (including primary research and conceptual designs). Once the deposit has been received, we will start our design process and work closely with clients to ensure continual communication is made at each and every stage of the design process.
WILL WE NEED TO HAVE A MEETING OR CAN ALL CORRESPONDENCE BE DONE VIA EMAIL/PHONE?
In the majority of cases a meeting isn't necessary and 90% of our sites and branding work are generally completed with contact via email and telephone only. However, we are more than happy to arrange a meeting if you would prefer to discuss your design requirements face to face rather than over the phone or via email correspondence. Personal meetings can help to clarify all design requirements and a visual representation of work can be beneficial for both parties.
ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS?
Once payment has been received in full, there are no hidden costs involved*. The only payment(s) the client will make are for the work quoted for. If however, additional workings are required - these will either be charged at our hourly rate or worked out at a set price depending on work involved.
* If you choose to have a web design package with us - the only ongoing cost will be your annual hosting fee (£150).
WHAT AFTER-SALES SUPPORT DO YOU PROVIDE TO CLIENTS?
After the completion of a website project we are available for after-sales support. Any slight tweaks or amendments are carried out to the site free of charge in the first month. Any support thereafter will be charged at our hourly rate of £75.
WHAT DOES 'FTP' STAND FOR?
FTP stands for 'File Transfer Protocol' and is a method of transferring files (web pages for example) from your local PC to your web server. There are a variety of free ftp software programs available on the Internet and they enable you to update your website pages at any given time. When a hosting package is purchased through Top Click Media, 'ftp details', consisting of the host name (i.e. ftp.yourdomain.com), User ID and password are sent to us. Upon completion of the website and receipt of payment for any work carried out, we then send these details to the client.
WHAT IS 'OPTIMISATION'?
All web pages should be 'optimised'. This will enable your site to gain a high search engine ranking, it revolves around the meta tags on your web pages, a web page that isn't optimised won't appear in the search engines to any great degree. For more on search engine optimisation (SEO) click here.
WHAT IS A 'DOMAIN NAME'?
Top Click Media offers a full account set-up service; If you are happy to forward on your credit card details to us to complete the billing registration, we are more than happy to do that for you. Otherwise, we can talk you through the process for full account set-up.
WHAT IS A 'URL'?
A URLl is the acronym for 'Universal Relocater Location'. This is the web address you type it into the browser address bar and then the browser can communicate with the DNS server and find the website you need from the url you have typed in. A domain name might be example.com where as a URL is http://www.example.com
WHAT IS 'WEB HOSTING'?
Hosting is a small portion of a server that is purchased so that you can 'host' a website on the internet. Every website needs hosting and hosting can be purchased easily from various 'hosts' on the internet. Top Click Media web clients can benefit from our own bespoke hosting packages included with the design of any new website.
WHAT IS 'CSS'?
In web development, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a stylesheet language used to describe the presentation of a document written in a markup language. Its most common application is to style web pages written in HTML and XHTML.
CSS is used to help readers of web pages to define colors, fonts, layout, and other aspects of document presentation. CSS is designed separate document content (HTML or similar markup language) from document presentation (written in CSS); generally improving content accessibility, providing more flexibility and control in the specification of presentation characteristics, and reducing complexity and repetition in the structural content.
WHAT IS 'VALIDATED CODE'?
Validated code can comply with reasonably well-defined standards. The process of using such software is known as "validation" and the primary goal of validation is to ensure that the submitted code contains no obvious, facial mistakes. Validated code is much more likely to render properly in all browsers. Moreover, valid code, being standards-and-doctype compliant, is much more forward-compatible - meaning newer browser versions will be less likely to break it
WHAT IS 'WEB 2.0'?
Web 2.0 is the perceived ongoing change of the World Wide Web from a collection of websites to a full platform serving web based applications to end users. It refers to the supposed second-generation of Internet-based services where user generated content (ie people visiting websites) is king but also includes things such as social networking sites (such as Facebook & Myspace), wikis and communication tools that emphasize online collaboration and sharing among users.

HOW DO TOP CLICK MEDIA BILL ME FOR DESIGN SERVICES?
Top Click Media operate on a 30% deposit for all design services. Initial deposits may be made by credit / debit card, payed by cheque or alternatively made via bank transfer (BACS). Once we have completed the initial design stage, we ask clients for a further 40% payment and then a final 30% on completion of the design project.
