Mobile Moves with Top Search Engines

Two of the top search engines have been competing in the mobile world for the accounts being offered. Mobile phones need search engines in order to help their customers as they are on their phones. Google Tries to Help Out Yahoo

Google has offered to create an advertising tie up that would allow Yahoo to be less of a target for the buyout Microsoft has offered. Yahoo was unreceptive to Google’s offer however. Yahoo have thought about outsourcing their search advertising with Google, but it seems the arrangements in the directors minds is not as great as one would hope. While it would solve some of Yahoo’s problems with cash Yahoo is still reluctant to take the offer on. (more…)

Danger Inc. Purchased by Microsoft

The question is does Microsoft’s recent buy of Danger Inc thumb their nose at Apple and Google? Danger is the maker of T- Mobile Sidekick Qwerty smartphone. T- Mobile just signed a deal with Yahoo that the search engine is going to be the major player for their 11 European countries. (more…)

Let’s look at the other part of your question now. You have submitted to directories in order to gain links. You should find that these directories are listed in the back links that Yahoo has provided. The directories do take a little bit to show up because of the process. The process called spidering allows for the links to make their way into Yahoo and usually takes seven to ten days. Yahoo is probably one of the best search engines to find your true Page Rank and inbound link numbers. You will find that Yahoo Site Explorer offers link data. You will even find that Yahoo works so well that we use it for the Site Strength Tool that you have. The tool is designed to offer you an easy way to click and find your links listed. A few months ago I decided to purchase $700 of directory listings in order to build up my website’s inbound traffic. The problem I am having right now is that Google is not showing any inbound links.
