Tuesday T- Mobile announced that for the UK mobile search engine they would no longer be using Google. It seems Yahoo will replace Google as T- Mobiles preferred method for searching, which is a minor celebration for Yahoo. The Europe base of T- Mobile has decided that Yahoo will be the most used search provider. While it is a loss for Google, it is still not enough to save Yahoo’s current status though it will certainly help. Yahoo is competing with Google and Microsoft to win more individuals on mobile services. The field is still open for many of the mobile phone providers in order to be the most used search engine, which means that Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo will continue to compete for more than just T- Mobile. How long should it take for new links to begin increasing my rankings? – Part 3
February 14, 2008 by AdminDirectories:
Let’s look at the other part of your question now. You have submitted to directories in order to gain links. You should find that these directories are listed in the back links that Yahoo has provided. The directories do take a little bit to show up because of the process. The process called spidering allows for the links to make their way into Yahoo and usually takes seven to ten days. You will find until the link has actually made its way back to you and Yahoo you will not be able to count it. (more…)

Google’s Main Index – Part 1
February 10, 2008 by AdminAre you finding that your pages are in Google’s Second Class Index and you don’t know how to get them into the main index? If you are trying to figure out how to get your page viewed more often and how you can make it of value to Google you need to learn about the index systems and how they work.
You will find that Google will remove a supplemental label that has been placed on a page and now calls them a second class. This means that a website is still considered a little less important, but it just has a new name. So how do you get the pages into the main index when you are new to SEO or not sure what a second class page is? You can do a Google search for a site. You will search over the domain and then clink on the cached link. In other words there is a cached link next to each page’s listing and when you click on that you will find the second class links.
You can also download the Google Toolbar. This toolbar will tell you where you are on the Page Rank that Google offers and you can then find how often the page is visited and what its rank is.
