There are plenty of questions you might be asking yourself about your website. You need to know how to make it the best website for people to find so that your sales will be increased, but how would you go about that? We have looked into several theories about faster servers. For example if you have faster server would the ranking increase on your site so that you could get more traffic? Or are there any advantages at all to paying for that faster server?
A news release in 2006 by Matt Cutts a Google representative tried to answer these very questions for website owners. According to Matt Cutts, if your pages on the website can load then you will be able to get a ranking. Having a faster server doesn’t mean your ranking is going to increase, even if your pay is loading in a half a second as opposed to 5 seconds.
However, more research by our team suggests that there are actually three factors you need to consider regarding speed that hasn’t been answered yet. These factors could be the difference between you getting a higher ranking with a faster server.

If you try to take information from another site without changing it you will be penalised.
The point is you need to have some control over SEO and follow these steps above to have the best website that you can. By following the information you have a better chance of getting a better ranking.

Competition
Competition is what defines how well your site is going to do. If you don’t know the competition that is out there you could end up making a mistake. Take a look at the websites similar to your idea. What do these sites have? Have they used SEO for their site and content? Is it an impressive site with back links and a strategy? If the answer is yes to these questions then you really need to be savvy in your design to replicate the strategies they use or define a better strategy to put yourself on top.

Goal Setting
Setting your goals is very important. You don’t want to waste too much time or find out that after spending time you have gained nothing further. It is best to have short and long term goals. These options will give you time to decide what you need to work on and when. For example if you need to increase traffic to the site you might start on that as a long term goal, while having rewrites of content done as a short term goal. Find strategies that will help you keep the goals insight rather than sacrificing something.
