Live Search has fired a warning shot at Google by enhancing its policy of offering fringe benefits to users. Today the Microsoft search engine launched Live Search Perks, a promotion whereby users are rewarded with “tickets” depending on how much they use Live Search. The tickets can then be exchanged for prizes when the promotion ends on April the 15th next year.

An audit was recently conducted on all member sites for Advantage. The results showed that two thirds of the sites scored favourably for usability, design, and SEO. While it is a positive sign that most of the websites were considered to be in a good light, there are still some issues. The study was carried out by Click with Technology. They saw 63 percent of 110 websites perform well during the study.
