To get yourself the links you need you need a certain number of Digg stories. The more content you publish the better off you are at getting the links, so for the first 24 hours starting on Digg you should have 60 articles submitted. This will help you hit the front page. The articles don’t all have to be the same. In fact they can be any category that will somehow apply to your actual site.

The quickness in which your story gets Diggs. Diggs are a method of viewing and getting a response to the article. The more responses you get the better off you are in getting on the front page. A general rule states you need at least 20 in the first hour to get the front page. Otherwise you will be in the black hole of Digg.
