All About Pay Per Action – Part 2

January 6, 2008 by Admin

What does Pay Per Action mean?

Pay per action is a new way for businesses to find consumers, but mostly it is for Google to take the pay per click program one step further. At the moment an advertiser pays only when the consumer takes some sort of action. This means that the action could be buying a product or service, filling out a form, and so on from the advertiser’s site. Google wants to expand the capabilities just a little more to include ad markets for video, mobile, radio, and pay per click calling. Basically they want to make the revenue source larger.

The idea of improving the pay per click ad services is a good one according to other companies. The idea is that they will be pushing for the businesses that are successful to place more ads around the internet and earn a little revenue by it. Apogee Search has been working with Google in the test phase of pay per action service and even they are seeing the sense in creating a better program that will incorporate more businesses in their overall advertising and marketing plan.
