April looks set to be a big month for Apple, and a big month for Apple means lots of Apple related news so apologies to any “PC’s” out there if you are not at all interested in Apple developments.
Another Apple product (sort of) that has been churned around the rumour mill for months now is the much anticipated iPhone OS 4.0 which those in the know have been waiting for a long while now. On Monday Apple revealed that they will be unveiling their new 4.0 OS software for the iPhone this week.
In typical Apple fashion they were habitually ambiguous about the event, they simply sent out invitations to the media that contained a picture of a “4” with the text: “Get a sneak peak into the future of iPhone OS.”
Unfortunately there was no mention of a new iPhone which has been rumoured to be coming out with this new operating system but Apple being Apple it is likely that this is the card they will keep closest to their chest.
The event, that will be held on Thursday will confirm or dismiss many of the rumours of what the new OS may offer. One of the main hopes is that it will have multi-tasking capabilities and flash integration. One thing is certain, if other Apple ‘unveiling events’ are anything to go by then we had all better start saving for yet another object of desire from Apple.
