Authoritative Links Free
Search engines want you to have as many links as you can get. However, there are some things that they will not allow. For example, search engines have started to crack down on the amount of links you can have that are not quality. The more links you buy or just pick up that are useless, the more chances you have of getting yourself banned. There are new and better ways to get links that can be useful to your site. You don’t want too many reciprocal links, links from networking sites, or paid for links. All of these things will get you penalized.
What you need is a wide range of links from different sites. If you have a few social networking links combined with reciprocal links you are better off. You also need to create viral content and other links to businesses that have similar needs. For example, if you sell pet products and a site offers pet articles it is a match. You wouldn’t want a link to another pet product site, unless they have something you don’t.
