When you have your own website it is important to maintain a standard level of user friendly policies in order to attract a search engine friendly rating. There are three areas you should be concerned with for your website.
First you should create content with search engines in mind.
This means when the search engine does its crawl through your site it should come up happy rather than offering penalties for over sights. When you have a search engine friendly website you are able to lodge yourself in the index from the search engine to increase your visitor numbers.
Second you should have the proper links on your site. Links will offer you a higher page rank; therefore you need to have links that flow with your website that make sense so the search engine offers a better ranking.
Lastly you need to place your keywords on your website in an intelligent and correct manner. You shouldn’t have keywords added in inappropriate places, as keywords can be used to help you obtain your optimal page ranking. Following the important steps should increase the number of visitors to your site as well as offer prime content for them to seek.
