Building a Search Engine Friendly Website - Part 6
Framing Disaster
Frames are a bad thing to do with your web page. You should never use them. You should also avoid duplicate content on your web page. You may have heard this tired line before, but let’s look at it for a search engine friendly website.
You see, duplicate content by the search engines definition is atrocious. They are going to determine what is original content, and then leave the other pages in the basement of no index ever. In other words only the original content page will make it into the index. If you have borrowed content from another page you have on the internet, chances are you are going to have a little trouble getting one of your pages in a high ranking. So what should you do? Have all original information on any web page.
So why are spiders used for determining your web page rank? The spiders are a way to determine the best content and provide it to their readers. You need to get the spiders directed to your site so that you are able to get more consumers. Internal linking and other options are needed for you to have the best site that you can.
