You will have to do business in the right way adhering to the laws and rules and regulations. There is certain code of ethics that should be followed by search engine optimisation, they would be discussed below.

There are certain people who would be employed by the search engine optimisation company in order to help the websites to get a good look and design which would make them position at a higher level. Such people should know the rules of the company and should not try to intentionally do anything wrong to the clients website. Though he may have the powers to change certain things, but he will have to take care not to change the important information for search engine optimisation. All the laws and rules should be followed and also taken care of while dealing with the customer’s website.

The matter that is there in the customer’s website should not be misguided by the person who checks them. This is code of ethic for search engine optimisation should be strictly adhered too. This would also mean that every page should have a separate URL and not many for the same page. It is also an important code of ethic for search engine optimisation that the person who is responsible to check the customer’s website should not change the work that is of a particular individual. If the name of the person is written then it should remain the same.

The code of ethics for search engine optimisation would also mention that no individual who would be checking the customer’s website should give any personal information. Here personal information can be about training, certifications, studies, experience etc. The information here would also include the information about the company and certain aspects that the company has kept as a secret should not be disclosed. If there is any kind of conflict that arises in between two parties then the person working for the search engine optimisation company should not get himself involved in it.

It is the duty of the person working for search engine optimisation companies to not disclose the identity of their clients to any other person. All information regarding the customer should be kept as a secret within the company itself. This way the customer would also get the confidence to deal with such a company easily. The persons should try to the best of their ability to improve the performance of their client’s website. This can be done by developing the website in a better way. Checking for the pages and keywords would also enable the person to identify the position of the company. He can make desirable changes in order to bring about good results.

It is necessary that all search engine optimisation companies follow this basic code of ethics. By doing so they will be able to win the confidence of the customers and this way there can be effective search engine optimisation.
