He feels that the major televisions networks and the role they play in driving new media platforms forward a good thing. He feels that most people do not realize just how sophisticated the networks have become. They have smart people on their staff and working in the background, and some staff is dedicated to evaluating and trying to leverage a variety of things that helps promote Denuo’s clients and their products.
The three major networks – ABC, CBS and NBC – all have Internet presences and some of them have acquired international holdings, such as CBS’ acquisition of a social networking site in the United Kingdom. He remarks that this not sales forces selling television, but rather the management and other groups within the industry recognizing the changing world and making the necessary moves to keep up with it.
He believes that the online world and television world will eventually mesh and advertisers will be forced to take a good hard look at both sides to make sure they get their message across to the consumers. Marketers are going to have to make online advertising appealing to the surfers and television watchers and vice versa to make sure that draw in both demographic groups.
