When asked his opinion about Facebook being worth the estimated fifteen billion dollars that has been reported, Tobaccowala countered with the fact that no one knows how much the social website is really worth. Unlike Google, Facebook has never been evaluated on any stock market exchange scale.
Even though some smart people invested in the company and this raised the value, without a true measurement by professionals, there is no way to confirm or deny the estimated worth. He says that in a few years these same people may look at their investment and wonder why they paid so much for it. Others will do the same thing and think that the world is their oyster and their investment was sound. Somehow no matter what happens, Rashid Tobaccowala, Denuo and PGM will still be out there helping their clients move into the next decade with a sold and firm business plan, products and services that will appeal to everyone, and advertising techniques that will reach a broader range of individuals by utilizing the newest and greatest technology available. If Tobaccowala’s track record is any indication, the business world will be seeing him and his company for a very long time to come.
