It seems a few of the online gambling sites have been found to be using their gamblers to make a great deal of money. The domains have been created with lucrative pay per click advertising designs that will actually take money from the browser.
The domain names are registered in the UK where many are cybersquatting. These sites have the pay per click advertising in which consumers click on the advertisement and are sent elsewhere. On the third party gambling sites the gamblers are taken to they are still using their account from the other domain, but on a separate site. This means they are losing money to the third party, instead of being on a traditional casino game.
Legitimate businesses are undeniably frustrated over such practices, and hope that the fake pay per click sites as well as the third party domains will be ended very soon.
Pay per click is meant to charge the business for the advertisement, not the consumer for clicking on the ad. While the domains have not been stopped yet, it is only a matter of time before the pay per click fakes are removed from any potential consumer click. It is obviously giving a bad name to most pay per click advertisements at the moment.
