Google has created a prototype that is called an Android. The Android is used in the mobile phone market as a new technology. The Android is going to be shown at the Mobile World Congress. The World Congress is being held in Barcelona for the next few days.
The product will be one of the highlights many are looking forward to seeing. The Android is a software system that is based on Linux. Linux is an open source technology and with the conversion to mobile phones it can mean a great deal over all for Google.
The phone is going to be the first in telecommunications Google has completed as far as the mobile market software is concerned. Google has created a partnership with many mobile handset makers and other technology companies in order to make the mobile phone software that will be used. You will find the software will be released in the later half of 2008.
The software has been created to rival Nokia’s S60 platform so it will be interesting to see how the launch will go. Google has had other software applications dealing with the internet searching for mobile phones, but this new system is the operating system of the phone which means there are more applications and interactions with the hardware.
