Medio Systems has a performance based mobile ad network. This network allows for advertisers and publishers to use pay per click text and display ads to gain more traffic to their websites. Medio systems announced today that they would be bringing this network to the UK and Europe in early 2008.
Medio just launched their US based company in March of 2007 and saw a great growth in their sales. The company believes that the growth potential in the new markets will add more weight to the company’s performance.
The head of advertising was interviewed and he believes the UK has one of the largest and advanced mobile advertising market in Europe and quite possibly larger than the US. Since many brands in the UK are starting to look towards mobile for advertising and marketing strategies it seems like the perfect move for the new company. They are trying to of course add to the revenue streams as well as other businesses. It will create more revenue for operators, publishers, and off deck mobile properties. It will also enable advertisers to find a more target based ad for their consumers to click on.
