Online Advertising Increases
It seems that many of the companies in the UK and Europe are increasing their online advertising budget. In a recent study the figures showed that the pay per click advertising has increased the most as online advertisements. This increase since 2007 has almost doubled.
The pay per click advertising is seen as a great idea because the consumers will click on the ads rather than do a search on search engines, simply because of curiosity. The research showed that 11.2 billion Euros was spent in 2007 on pay per click advertising. That is 8.8 billion pounds.
The increase over 2006 was about 7 percent. This year the projection is double the 7 percent increase of 2007. The survey showed that many businesses are benefiting from pay per click, and with the new launch of programmes it could be even cheaper for the businesses to advertise online. The fact is, the industry is growing to the point that even smaller online businesses can see the benefit of increasing their online promotions in the pay per click advertising wing.
The budgets may continue to increase in the next several months according to the survey, as more success is being had.
