Optimization for Mobile Phone Users - Part 1
I would like to optimize my site for mobile phone users to make it relevant. I have read of several reasons for wanting to optimize my site, but I need to know if there are any strategies that I could use in order to get my site in a better state for mobile phone users?
Answer: You will find that yes, it is very important that your site is relevant to mobile phone users, especially in regards to SEO. Kelsey Group is just one of the companies that have been creating a research strategy for websites regarding SEO. They have found that mobile search users will increase to 64.8 million by the year 2011. This means that $700 million will be spent online as these individuals use their phones to access the internet.
You will find that you do not have to change your site much in order to get it optimized for mobile phone users. In fact it will appear much the same as it does on a regular computer. There are going to be a few things that do need changing as not all phones work the same. The iPhone offers one of the best internet browsers in that the picture quality and what you can view is the same as a desktop, but not all are the same.
