Many marketers have begun to use pay per click advertising, which means they have increased their budget, according to a new report. This report was released by SearchIgnite to show the pay per click industry was up 27 percent in the last three months from 2007. SearchIgnite shows that Google is the most prominent search engine in the pay per click marketing scheme.

Most retailers have increased spending by 1.5 percent in this year. They have also seen better results from the increase for selling their products. The advertising option has several benefits that make a marketing strategy using pay per click almost a necessity. It doesn’t matter that the economy is in a downturn, because the results combined with the low advertising costs more than makes up for it.

A paid search will continue to be more profitable in the next few months and even years. The UK spending budget rose by 28 percent in the first half of 2008 when it was compared to 2007 in the study. These figures can from the Internet Advertising Bureau. Overall it looks like pay per click is here to stay and that it will get many companies through their economic hardships because it is less expensive advertising.
