There are many single owners and home based businesses that make up the industry, which is why the information is so important to many individuals. Most of the smaller businesses lack the marketing skills they need or at least the marketing program they need to grow or succeed. This means that online, sales, management, operations, and strategic planning skills are needed to help them grow in an expanding market.
Many of the individuals involved in travel and hospitality have done so because they considered it a hobby that would make a great career. They wanted to design a special destination, sport stop, or other place that would appeal to many consumers. However they didn’t stress the business skills needed when they made the decision, which means they nee to find the information in another way. The podcasts are just one way an owner, manager or employee can gain the knowledge they need because they are trained by professionals.
