Steps to increase your income

You need to provide good, up to date content on the website. This means that every year or more often you are changing the content to be refreshed and again attract the consumers you are appealing to. You will make more money through repeat visitors than some one who just clicks an ad and gets to your page. When you have good content the consumers will return and they will click on other ads you have on the site.

The placement for the ads is going to be important. If you have the ads hidden through the content the visitor may not click on the actual ad. The idea is to have the Adsense ads at the top of the website to offer more chances for the person to click on the ad. The side is also a good placement area. You do not want to overdo the amount of ads. A few sporadic ads is great, but an entire page of ads, and maybe 100 words of content is not going to get repeat consumers or much income.

Following the lines of the placement you should also make sure that the ads are blended with the website. An ad that blends is more likely going to attract the consumer over something that is extremely blatant and irritating.
