Lala music streaming service shutdown by Apple
June 3, 2010 by Jenny SandersonApple have officially shut down the Lala music streaming service that it acquired at the beginning of the year, just like the company said it would. iTunes latest update comes with iPad support

iTunes store hits magic 10 billion downloads mark
March 1, 2010 by Jenny SandersonIt doesn’t seem so long ago that I was sat at my computer desk debating when exactly to click the ‘buy now’ button in the hope of being the lucky individual to have purchased Apple’s 5 billionth song. iTunes Shop bans Huge developer

Chinese Developer Molinker had more than a thousand applications listed on the iTunes store, their removal has reportedly reduced the size of the store by 1 percent. (more…)

End of an Era for Macworld
January 8, 2009 by Matt ThomasMacworld has changed forever. The last Apple keynote has been delivered and the company have departed from the event for the last time. In the end they went out with more of a whimper than a bang, closing with a performance from aged Crooner Tony Bennet, who sang ‘The best is yet to come,’ and appropriately, ‘I left my heart in San Francisco.’ I’m sure the performance was very enjoyable, though perhaps the crooner, who enjoyed the peak of his success in the 50s and 60s, didn’t quite chime with the cutting edge image that Apple want to portray.
