More Reasons for a Budget Increase

Competition will drive the search queries to increase as well. In other words when you perform additional creative testing you will find that you have found new ways to place ads for the pay per click sites and this will increase the spending so that you can out do the competition. You will also find that a boost in position with a better ranking on the search engines can increase your score and therefore your cost per click.

Whenever there is new competition or new marketing companies there are always changes in price to deal in the new competition. This means that the price will increase to account for the lost dollars of the new competition even in pay per click businesses. It is important to make sure you have budgeted for these increases.

With price increase the conversion rates are also going to change. The competitors are going to increase the conversion rates, just like you do when you have a test run on a landing page. This means that the maximum bid for cost per click will go up.
