Pay Per Click have search engines that have been around for many years, some are new while others have been around for 6 or 7 years. People may think that the newer search engines are more effective than the older ones because of the technology the world is exposed to these days, but this may not always be the case. There are many different Pay Per Click search engines available today, but the most common and widely used ones would be Yahoo!, Overture.com or Search Marketing, and Google.com’s Adwords. The popularity of these search engines as website endorsement tools is gradually on the increase due to the fact that it is getting more difficult to get good listing places in the results of the editorial or organic search engines.
Most of the Pay Per Click search engines will often include some of the best organic listings after they have included their paid listings. The mainstream search engines are also now including the results from other Pay Per Click searches with their organic, free listings. There are many major portals that now feature Google.com and Overture.com listings in all of their search results. Websites that have their traffic generated through the Pay Per Click search engines tends to increase the popularity of the site.
