In our last blog we spoke about duplicate content in regards to SEO. Duplicate content is when a writer uses information found on other websites without changing it. Even by changing the content it can still be considered duplicate content. In this area it will be harder for the search engine spider to ferret out the original content.

For this reason businesses need to be wary of content being used for search engine optimisation. The content of websites is going to be similar. There is often no way around that when you have thousands of the same topic on a website. Offering unique and well written content can be the determiner between better search engine optimisation and bad.

For the creator of content certain phrases or words should not be repeated too many times in one article or in the entire site. These words or phrases can be seen as duplicate content based on the frequency.

Search engine optimisation is making the content easy to find by the search engine as well as the consumer. The consumer always needs to be in the back of the writer’s mind when it comes to composing the content. By following certain rules of SEO a website can be more successful.
