Tips in Search Engine Optimisation Keywords

August 18, 2008 by Admin

Search engine tips can provide you with the right tools to promote your web site. When it comes to search engine optimisation keywords, one has to include unidentified keywords. If the search engine optimisation keywords are deleted it can create terms that are extracted from index entries. The computerized software that is used by major search engines weigh and measures the indexes. When this occurs, a processor creates and updates the keywords and stores them in inverted, matching files.

When you have basic idea how search engine optimisation keywords work, it can prepare you to use the right keywords according to search engine commands.

Keywords should be used appropriately. When you haven’t made it to the search engine ranks, your site should at most be listed in Open Directories. Open directories provide you with ways to search millions of directories each day and submit your articles so that you can increase your chance of reaching search engine ranks.

Commonly, Open Directories are provided by Yahoo, Google, and other search engines. You can use these directories to find relevant links, back links, incoming links, and even useful keywords.

Open directories often comprise of ODP or Open Directory Project, which is often referred to as DMOZ by some users. We know this as Mozilla. Mozilla originated from the Open Directories. The directories contain multilingual solutions combined with open content designed for users. This means that the content links to popular search engines, and Netscape. Many volunteers in the Internet community maintain the directories.

Some of the popular Open Directories are updated each day, and others are not updated regularly. Editors who volunteer their time sometimes fail to keep the directories updated, simply because there are millions of these Open Directories. The Open Directories were discovered by Rick Skrenta, of ODP, Bob Truel, and GNUHOO.

What’s the point? The point is, if you have not been ranked in the top search engines index, then using open directories can provide you options. Each day, Google searches through these Open Directories to find relevant information and web links. Once the links are discovered by Google’s algorithms, crawlers, and other spotter tools, the links or URLs’ are then indexed and ranked by Google’s PageRank system. This is your chance to get Google to rank your web site.

Using Open Directories is easy. Many times you have to open an account before you can use the services. It only takes a few minutes to open the account, and then start using the Open Directories. Post your URL as many times as you possibly can to achieve the best results. Use search engine optimisation keywords appropriately and make sure that when you use search engine optimisation keywords that your URL, web content, links, are all relevant and that they are listed in the right category. You may need to research your products and services to find out what category it belongs in before you list it in the Open Directories.
