In the last post we asked a few questions. To answer them we will look at what you are selling. If you sell eBooks in a variety of languages then opening them to more audience can be a help with the domain name. However, you may not get as much business in the Middle East for just English books.
So be wise when choosing your Domain ID. Competing in the global market can also be extremely difficult rather than your local area. In other words to choose how to set up your online business do a search. If you go to Google and search for Cars you might get over a billion sites, but when you target for Cars in the UK you may get 2 million. As you can see the numbers are going to be much smaller for the local market rather than a large market.
You may also discover that the first page is not your local area on the general search instead it is the most popular site. You will also discover on a search that most of the domain searches are not going to have the location name in the keyword. For cars you wouldn’t find carsuk.co.uk or .com. Instead it would leave off the location.
