One of the very popular ways of marketing these days is the pay per Click Marketing, (PPC). As internet is a vital part of almost everyone’s life, this way of advertising and reaching a mass has become very convenient and logical for the people involved. The pay per click marketing is used on various search engines as well as a variety of other websites too where they can be related to the content of the website.

How does the entire concept of PPC work? The advertisers normally design a phrase or some keywords which give an idea of their expertise and place them on various search engines and their ads are displayed when some user types similar keywords for his search. These ads are additional to the actual search done and so their placement on the screen is also different from the normal ones.

Some of the very popular pay per click marketing providers is the Yahoo Search Marketing, Google Adwords etc. The payment by the advertiser is done according to the number of clicks by the users on their advertisement. The amount of money paid for every click is decided by the website is decided by the number of advertisers competing in that field and also by the popularity of the search engine where the ad is being placed.

These models are basically of two types the match of the content and match of the keyword. The content match advertisements are those which will be exhibited on the websites containing similar content, e-mails or the newsletters of the related market. One of the websites that offers this service is Yahoo. Another option is the keyword match and it is also known as the sponsored match and it is usually exhibited on various websites which are used only for the purpose of search such as Google.

How can one start earning through the pay per Click marketing option? The advertiser needs to create an ad which is relevant to his market, he needs to catch the right keywords, think and decide how much money is he willing to spend on it and also come to a decision about the positioning and placing of his Ad When the ad will be displayed on a website where the user is actually searching for something similar, there are much better chances that the users will click on the ad of the advertiser and will know about his market and the options he has. There are several advantages to such kind of pay per Click marketing and some of them include the variety of languages that can be used so that all the sectors can be targeted, the formats of the ads can be changed as and when required without much extra expenditure and the budget can also be adjusted according to the requirements and the conditions. One of the factors that these websites need to be careful of is the click fraud. Some competitors or webmasters can make abusive clicks if not checked.
