How a Website Gets Penalized

There is no right answer for this question of how a website gets penalized. The fact is Google is the only one that will know the exact reason for the website to be penalized as they are the ones with the algorithm. Without inside knowledge you could be doing what you believe is perfectly within the rules of Google, and still lose your standing. The only thing you can really do is try to find the answer through observation. Webmasters for years have been observing how Google works and how it has changed.

Within these studies they offer advice to the regular consumer starting a website to help you gain the page ranking you would like to have. The conclusions that have been drawn regarding the studies have been pretty close to making the assumptions work.

The best answer to the question is really this: When Google looks at your site if they don’t like what you are doing, who you are affiliated with, or where you gain your traffic you are not going to rank high in the page rank from Google. They have a specific design that they are looking for and this means you have to find out what it is.
