Keywords are words that are used by web surfers to find a relevant website. These should be included on content within your website in order to make your site more likely to be found by the search engine when a search is performed.
Adwords are similar, but are specific to pay per click advertising. With pay per click advertising, you place a bid with the search engine to show a link to your site every time a certain word is searched by a web surfer. Each time the surfer clicks on the link and is connected to your site, you pay the search engine the amount of money you agreed upon in your bid. This method of advertising has been quickly gaining popularity and is a proven effective method for bringing traffic to a website.
