The MSN adCentre is still in the beta stages and it may take some time before the services are made available across the board. At the moment, MSN is only running a pilot program in the US. An advantage offered by MSN is that you can export your existing list of keywords from Yahoo or Google into this program. Adequate instructions to do this are provided. The billing structure, as well as pricing remains more or less similar to that of Google or similar advertising programs.
While there is no minimum spending limit, an initial fee for setting up at $5.00 is required. The minimum bid for keyword is pegged at $0.05 and the billing will follow a billing threshold. This means that whenever your billing reaches the threshold MSN will issue you a bill.
MSN has done pioneering work in the field of internet and therefore, they should be able to devise the means to extract their share from this large and growing market of internet advertisement. MSN’s share in search market may be pegged at around 15%, but they have made it easier for you to reach that 15%. Your business could be going places, watch out for further progress in adCentre from MSN.
