Adwords API fixes issues and refreshes Sandbox

December 22, 2008 by Simon King

Not a big thing today guys but a little useful information for Adwords API users nonetheless. As of last week the boffins behind Adwords API have issued a refresh of the Sandbox. If you couldn’t get on last week that was the reason- the campaign and account data is now cleared out and refreshed.

It’s also worth noting that the accessibility issues that Sandbox has been experiencing are, as of yet, showing no signs of going away. A patch was released on the 16th intended to put right probms with the account login code however, there are no reports (at time of writing) that the issue has been completely resolved.

With a bit of luck Google will figure this out in the new year and get Sandbox running well. It would be a shame for accessibility issues to turn people off what really is a very good application for testing and developing campaigns. If you have been experiencing problems, I advise you to hang in there and wait for Google to sort it out Sandbox is well worth the wait.
