Google services now available at hosting control panel

In 2009 Google announced a program that would allow hosting companies to integrate Google’s services into their platforms in order to allow easy access to their customers.

A lot of hosting companies have already decided to adopt the program since its inception and thousands of sites have benefited from configuring services such as Custom Search and AdSense.

This week Google have announced further improvements to the access of such tools. The leading provider of control panel software for hosting companies, Parallels, has managed to integrate Google services for websites into Parallels Plesk Panel which is used by millions of website owners around the world as a way of managing their sites.

Any hosting provider that uses Plesk 9.5 can now enable Google services for their websites customers. Website owners generate more traffic by optimising them by using the range of Webmaster Tools available.

Companies will be able to engage their users with inline web elements that include videos, news and maps.

Custom Search and Site Search provide Google quality search on their websites which will enable better user retention.

The AdSense service can help site owners monetise their sites with relevant advertising.

Besides providing this range of valuable services to millions of customers, hosting companies can also generate additional revenue through referral programs.
