New Vaio Netbook
We wrote earlier in the week about the revolution in netbooks brought on by the harsh economic times and predicted that the big names would soon be bringing out netbooks in order to satisfy this new demand. Well, anyone who doubts that the TCM team know what they’re talking about should check out the Vaio website today. If you do, you’ll find a load of information on brand new Vaio netbook, the Vaio P Series Lifestyle PC.
The P Series is the lightest ever eight inch notebook, weighing in at a not at all punishing one and a half pounds. Being a Vaio, the device is sleek and stylish though it also offers a good enough range of features to mean that it is not simply a fashion accessory, 3G, GPS, etc.
The new Vaio is also powerful enough to run Windows Vista and provide a range of use comparable to your home PC. The battery life is around 4 hours depending on the type of use.
The device is certainly good looking enough to garner the iPhone-style ‘I want one-factor,’ though it might be worth waiting for the reviews to roll in before you rush out and buy one. Like we said, there are more new netbooks on the way.
